Dr. Vivian Boyer, DNP, CNM, MBA, MSN is a workshop facilitator and organizational consultant at our practice. She creates and delivers wellness-based workshops to instill healthy practices, meaning, purpose, and joy in others. She is also available for corporate wellness programming and consultation to support employee engagement and retention. Vivian’s signature strengths of honesty, humor, curiosity, and humility allow her to be an engaging speaker that brings innovative information to her audiences. She easily develops rapport with others, and is able to use learning strategies that are experiential and leave participants feeling energized and enlightened.
Vivian has extensive experience working as a nurse midwife. She was the founder of the midwifery program and continues to serve as the director at Conemaugh Hospital. She not only has specific understanding of women’s health issues, but is proficient with strategic decision making, visionary leadership, and management skills. She has served as a clinical preceptor to countless nursing students and has held professorship positions at various universities. She holds a doctor of nursing degree from Chatham University, a master’s degree in business administration from Seton Hill University, and a master’s degree in nursing with a specialization in perinatology from Pitt University. Vivian is a lifelong learner and is well versed in holistic healing practices. She has studied herbalism, aromatherapy, and Mayan Abdominal Massage in the rainforest of Belize.
