Master’s Level Clinician

Kennedy Rhodes

Helping women navigate anxiety, motherhood, life transitions, and emotional wellness with compassion, practical tools, and evidence-based care.

Therapy Philosophy:

Life doesn’t always unfold the way we expect. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, the transition into motherhood, relationship changes, overwhelming stress, or simply feeling unlike yourself, therapy can provide a place to slow down, reconnect, and move forward with greater confidence.
Kennedy Rhodes believes that healing begins in a safe, supportive relationship where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Her approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based, helping clients recognize the resilience they already possess while building practical skills to navigate life’s challenges.
Kennedy integrates mindfulness, self-compassion, and evidence-based interventions to help clients better understand their emotions, reduce self-criticism, and develop healthier ways of coping. She believes meaningful growth happens when we learn to respond to ourselves with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment.
Whether you’re managing anxiety, adjusting to a major life change, or struggling to balance the many demands placed upon you, Kennedy works collaboratively with clients to foster greater emotional well-being, resilience, and lasting change.

Biography

Kennedy Rhodes, MS, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides individual psychotherapy to adolescents (14+) and adults through both in-person and telehealth appointments.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington and her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University.
Kennedy has completed advanced training and supervision in perinatal mental health, allowing her to provide specialized support to individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, PMDD, infertility-related stress, and the emotional complexities that can accompany parenthood. She is passionate about helping women feel supported during some of life's most significant and vulnerable transitions.
In addition to individual therapy, Kennedy co-facilitates mindfulness and self-compassion groups and leads community workshops on therapeutic journaling, emotional wellness, and identity shifts throughout motherhood. She enjoys helping clients develop practical tools they can use outside of therapy while building greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence.
Kennedy is known for creating a warm, approachable, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves. Her goal is to help each person recognize their strengths, navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change.

In case of a mental health emergency during or outside of scheduled therapy appointments, do not contact your therapist directly, but instead, seek immediate help by calling 911, going to the nearest emergency room, or contacting crisis hotline (988).
