Helping individuals, families, healthcare professionals, first responders, and licensed professionals gain clarity, build resilience, and create meaningful change through compassionate, evidence-based psychological care.
Therapy Philosophy:
Life can become overwhelming for many different reasons. Sometimes people seek therapy because anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or stress have begun interfering with daily life. Others come during periods of grief, major life transitions, trauma, or after years of trying to manage complex mental health concerns on their own. Regardless of what brings someone to treatment, Dr. Nicole Fusca believes every individual deserves to feel understood, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
Dr. Fusca believes meaningful therapy begins with understanding the whole person rather than simply treating symptoms. She works collaboratively with clients to develop a clear understanding of the factors contributing to their current struggles while identifying the strengths that can support lasting change. By combining careful assessment with evidence-based treatment, she helps clients gain insight, improve emotional well-being, and build practical skills they can apply long after therapy has ended.
Her therapeutic approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). Treatment is tailored to each individual’s needs, recognizing that no single approach is appropriate for everyone. Whether clients are managing anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, relationship concerns, personality disorders, or significant life stressors, Dr. Fusca strives to create an environment that is supportive, collaborative, and grounded in psychological science.
In addition to psychotherapy, Dr. Fusca has extensive experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations to answer complex diagnostic and treatment questions. She believes accurate assessment provides the foundation for effective treatment planning and helps individuals better understand themselves, their challenges, and their strengths.
One of Dr. Fusca’s greatest strengths is helping clients make sense of experiences that have previously felt confusing or overwhelming. She believes therapy should provide both understanding and practical tools, allowing clients to move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and hope.
Dr. Fusca does not believe therapy should create dependence. Her goal is to help clients develop the insight, skills, and confidence to navigate future challenges while living a life that is more aligned with their values.
