Katelyn Salva is the Education and Outreach Coordinator at our practice. In her role, she connects Authentic Perspectives with the larger Greensburg community via social media management, overseeing interns, event planning, networking, and collaborating with the staff. Katelyn also facilitates a variety of wellness workshops at the practice.
Katelyn believes knowledge is power, and she want to help others by providing them with psychological knowledge and tools to better their lives. With two of her top character strengths being curiosity and love of learning, Katelyn is passionate about educating and connecting the community. She intends on completing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology in the future.
Katelyn has been studying psychology and fine arts at Seton Hill University, and has worked on multiple research projects relating to diversity, equity, and inclusion. She has done research presentations at the 2023 Eastern Psychological Association Conference and the 2023 Seton Hill University Celebration of Scholarship Conference. She also has a published Op-Ed in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review on the ADHD medication shortage.
