Psychology Intern

Gina Veltri

Gina is currently a Psychology major with a minor in Social Work at Seton Hill University, working toward her ultimate goal of becoming a child psychologist. After graduating, she plans to attend graduate school to pursue a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. Gina’s passion for helping others is reflected not only in her academic pursuits but also in her research. She is working on her Honors Capstone project, where she’s exploring how stress affects students from diverse racial and minority groups. By studying cortisol levels in undergraduate students, she aims to identify better resources to help students manage stress during their college years.

At our practice, Gina’s responsibilities include assisting with social media management, supporting the therapy staff, and providing valuable help with assessments. Her versatility and eagerness to learn make her a vital part of our team.

Gina’s signature strength is humor, and she believes in the power of positivity to create a welcoming and supportive environment. Her ability to bring levity to challenging situations allows her to build strong, trusting relationships with those she works with. Gina strives to bring this sense of optimism and perspective to her work in our practice, maintaining an open mind and a constant desire to learn. We’re excited to have Gina on board and look forward to the contributions she’ll make in supporting both our clients and the broader community.
