Kennedy Rhodes is a master’s level clinician at Authentic Perspectives. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Indiana University-Bloomington in 2018 and her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in 2022. For her work at Authentic Perspectives, Kennedy is supervised by Dr. Krista Boyer. Additionally, Kennedy is under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor as she works towards full licensure as an LPC. She is able to provide counseling sessions to private pay clients at a reduced rate, which makes therapy services more accessible. Given that Kennedy is a recent graduate, she comes into the field with training that is informed by the most current research and latest evidence-based treatments. She also brings fresh energy, optimism, and enthusiasm to her client interactions. In addition to seeing individual clients, Kennedy co-facilitates skills-based group therapy sessions particularly focused on self-compassion and mindfulness. Her therapeutic orientation draws from a person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to create a safe and compassionate pathway with clients. Kennedy serves populations dealing with anxiety and depression.
